A Poetic Attempt

Cherishing your heart, in my heart
Letting this feeling bloom to its’ fullest
From the buds to the opening of petals
Giving life to the trees in the forest
No longer shying its’ secrecy
As the world is to admire such beauty
The beauty of Love,
I cherish your heart, in my heart.


Holding your hand in mine
Enveloped by this heartwarming sensation
Like rays of sun giving out light and warmth
I am grateful for this sensation of Touch
When life is born, it is one's touch
Signifying the essence of life itself
Lasting till my last breath
I hold your hand, in my hand.


Gazing at your eyes, in mine
Beyond those eyes, lies the soul
The earth moves yet two souls meet
Looking beyond the deep blue ocean
Not engulfed by mighty waves
But have welcomed the rush it brings
For you are within sight
I gaze into your eyes, in my eyes.
