Two Worlds Apart

Joy or Sorrow? What is your interpretation?

A moment of celebration in this part of the world - a time of much laughter and flashes of cameras capturing the joyousness of it all. Families gathering, love shared with gestures of hugs and kisses and all this in celebrating the birth of life in all its abundance. Friends alongside in sharing these precious moments of bonding and reconciliation. Red roses, cake cutting and champagne pouring. Bright as it can be - a day of celebration...


Not too far off...

Sudden as it is, a moment of shock to all who had received the news - a time of indescribable sorrow and no picture is able to paint the pain of it all. Families gathering, comfort much needed and all this in grieving of the passing on of a child. Life so fragile and yet to lived to the fullness of life. Friends alongside, speechless - as no words can be uttered in healing the hearts of the family. Silently bonding in the hope of making it all less painful. Much to question - a day of grief...

Heavenly Father, we may not understand it all.
But You called us to trust in You always,
it is difficult - this journey called LIFE,
will You not be close to us all of our days?
Both happy and sad times, more so during times of uncertainties.


This I pray, be close to those who are grieving,
comfort them in Your embrace,
only You can see the heart from within,
no one can comprehend it all.

Overwhelming it is. Only tears can describe it all.
