Life was like a box of chocolates...

Never really understood the meaning of this popular quote by Forrest Gump,

"Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

In realising that life is 'boxed-up' is somewhat depressing to me. But it being filled with sweets such as chocolates doesn't seem too bad after all... :) But in understanding the context of this quote, it's really about the uncertainties of life. It could be minty, dark, white, nutty, strawberrish, anything beyond one's imagination. It could be anything but it'll always be a 'sweet' encounter unless of course you pick on a dark bitter one, which you can always 'mend' with the sweetness of another... :)

Am currently in the midst of a crave - craving for the sweetness of life. A tasteful encounter as life should be.
